Galtür is situated in the heart of the Silvretta mountain range, surrounded by numerous mountains at least 3000 m high. The highest skiing area in the Tyrolean Paznaun enthralls skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers with high snow guarantee from the beginning of December until the end of April.
The great slopes, cross-country ski trails and snowparks of the Silvapark are known far beyond the borders of Austria.

If skiing days in Galtür are too short we can put forward a special offer:
Every Wednesday from 19.30 to 22.30 o’clock the slopes of the mountain railway Birkhahnbahn are illuminated as bright as day.
At the 2,2 km night skiing run the young and old meet. Thanks to floodlight the slopes appear as bright as day but at the same time with a totally different atmosphere than during the day.
